The Santa Clarita City Council unanimously named Newhall Coffee the "Official Coffee of the City of Santa Clarita." In exchange for the naming, the Newhall Coffee Roasting Company will include specially-imprinted stickers on all of their coffee products that read: "Proudly Roasted in Santa Clarita, CA, with the City's website included.

"We are very pleased with this win-win agreement. Both the City and Newhall Coffee benefit which in turn helps to promote Santa Clarita, both in the community and throughout the state," commented Mayor Bob Kellar.

May 7, the McMullen Brothers and Mayor Bob Kellar met at Java and Jazz, (owned by the McMullen Brothers) located in the Valencia Town Center, and placed the official sign that reads: "Now Pouring the Official Coffee of the City of Santa Clarita, Newhall Coffee."

Newhall Coffee can be found in Ralphs, Albertsons, Vons and Pavilions, as well as a number of supermarkets in the eastern part of the United States.
